Lol, well I do notice that I loved the harwood hood on my 89 that had no center edge over the ones with a edge but for some damn reason I like the center edge on my SS. No idea why.

That looks fantastic. The same way I wanted to do my SS hood. But I'm glad I didn't, would be looking like too many others out there. Lol

I got a pretty good deal on mine too!

I was living in Tennessee in when I see a 35th sitting in the parking lot of a Chevrolet dealer. Pulled in, took a test drive in it, let them take my '02 Chevy truck for an appraisal and they wrecked the truck!

I was standing next to the Sales Manager and we both seen what happened. I turned to him and said "The price of the Camaro just went down and the trade in value of that truck just skyrocketed". He had papers in his hand that he threw down and walked away mumbling.

I drove the car home with a huge grin on my face!!

That is a great story... Let me see if I can beat it... Mine supposedly had a blown head gasket, which I was prepared to bite the bullet on. Went to look at it, start it... No smoke, Perfect oil pressure, No noises.. Owner said it had gotten hot 230ish so he stopped driving it.. Said he came out and there was coolant on the ground and it looked like oil in the radiator.

Long story short...... The "oil" in the radiator was from the power steering cooler, the car overheated because of the radiator gasket (cap) was torn in two and did not seal... The coolant on the ground was from the over flow.
Pulled plugs and they were perfect.. No oil, gunk, no milky residue,
Bought all new hoses, eliminated PS cooler, drained old coolant, changed oil, filter and car is PERFECT!!! I'll spare you what I paid for the car....because you would probably call BS!!
