Just wondering "guys who live around the Dallas ft worth area" what kinda of jobs are out there? For retired military, DPS is my first choice only knack on that is, I'm not sure how they station where you will work out of? Or if you have an option to pick where you would like to work out of? If anyone can shine some light on that aspect it be greatly appreciated.. Looking for other options as well, so if any of you guys have any ideas or jobs I should take a look at in that area it be appreciated, maybe there's a company out there that takes care of their employers?? Wife is wanted to settle in or around that area so I'm starting to look. Thanks for you guys time.

Not sure of your experience, but since you're looking at DPS I'll suggest something somewhat related. Security for XTO in downtown Ft. W. No idea if they are hiring but it would be worth checking them out. XTO has several buildings so their securrity patrols a good part of downtown like FWPD should. XTO was bought by Exxon a few years ago so don't be surprised if applying takes you to their websight.
