Need some advice i have a 00 ss with 88000 miles and looking to do some mods to the motor the motor is mainly stock with a lid and some exaust work what ideas can you guy's throw at me with a tight budget!!!

tight budget and mods is an oxymoron... 
would help to know what your goals are. without knowing, you could start with a lid, headers and a catback. don't mess with your MAF.

buy everything used, can get some good deals on the net. Just make sure to use a reputible person.
Next have a goal in mind, save yourself some money and get someone local that knows how to install the mods for cheap or learn and do it yourself.
