website to find out if someone's been in jail? Is there a website that someone can visit and find if someone has done time in either county or state jail?

I just went to that site and looked up the sex offenders in my neighborhood. I found a low life I went to high school with. It didn't surprise me to find him on there. ******* loser

For Texas, this is a good place to start. Has maps and other stuff such as pictures too.
