haha, he probably won't be able to shoe-horn his head into a helmet now
Yep, I work out there, I do the announcing on the weekends, and also help set up some races and stuff. If you guys ever have any comments/suggestions/whatever, just let me know
and yes, that's my old gray Cutlass. I haven't been racing it much, but it's still around (I'm toying with the idea of taking it out tomorrow)
hate to go off on a tangent, but here's a video of it from the last Friday we were racing at HRP (haha, this is the only video I have of it, so I figured I might as well share

It's back to the usual Friday/Sunday schedule.
Friday no time shown, regular tree (I'm 99% sure of this) gates open at 5:00.
If you want a pro tree, just have them wrtie PT on your window at tech.
I don't know what they did to my Sunday Night Instant Green. I liked the instant green, but they've been setting it up with a regular tree, and we have the boards on for Sundays. Again, if you don't want your times shown, have a NT put on your window at tech, and a PT if you want a pro tree.
If it's crowded, we'll probably split the PT cars off into their own lanes, so listen to see what's going on.
I think I might take my car out, but I'm afraid it might break the rear end or something stupid, so I might end up begging for a ride home

I'm glad times are shown on Sunday. It makes the spectators happy to see times, and also its nice to be able to video record-setting runs with the time shown as proof. I didn't really care much for instant green, standard tree is better because we could use it for practicing for events.

Wow, I don't think HRP has ever offered anything like this before. I wonder if they are trying to entice people to come back. Has attendance dropped off?
I agree about showing the times. IMO times should be shown all of the time unless you go and ask the tech guy at the line specifically not to show them.
