Default 10 bolt 8.5"

does anyone know how hard it is to fit an 8.5 10 bolt from a 70 model chevelle into a 95 z28. i can get the rear end cheap, just wondering how much trouble it is.

They won't just bolt in they have no provisions for a T/A. As far as how hard ???? people are converting the 8.8's but you don't hear a bunch about it.

from what I can gather, people are having a lot of issues trying to fab torque arm mounts onto rear ends that didn't already have them. They start off strong, but eventually fail. I have been looking into doing an 8.8 but have not heard of any long term success stories. It looks like a nice 12 bolt is really the answer. buy a 12 bolt ppll sell them used on here all the time look for one slightly used for about 1600 bucks and moybe work out a trde with your rearend
