6 - 6.5 hrs. from Laredo. Beaumont is fairly close to the TX/LA border.

Cool, I might go look around Lumberton High School had a pretty good show a couple weeks ago too.

MS Streets & Trips estimates:
Arlington to Beaumont = 5hrs 19min
Laredo to Beaumont = 6hrs 52min

(Sure you can cut some time off those with appropriate speeds, though. )

Motor in the 68 Camaro is in and pretty much done, just some odds & ends & adjustments before we go the track & test it out, maybe this weekend depending on work.
A Short Vid
Its my brothers 383 LT1 that G-Force helped tune the PCM on & got it broke in on the dyno when it was in his car. We pulled it out of his, put a carb intake & then all the stuff off needed off my old motor (ignition, carb, etc.) and got it all running. The 406 (std. old SBC) I was putting together ran into a problem so it wont be done for a while. Want to get that motor ready to run & in the car... hopefully... by the end of this season.

Good luck in SA this weekend Coach. Hope to be able to start follow yall around towards the middle of the season to some of the bigger races.

And Congrats on the two wins already. Dont think we havent noticed. Know all the Footbrakers @ HRP have...

Default Postponed!!!

I know this is very short notice but due to the tragic bus accident yesterday (http://www.southeasttexaslive.com) the car show is postponed till a later date. I will announce it soon as I know.

But for now please keep the friends & family members of the affected kinds in your thoughts. Thank you.

Definitely tragic.

Until seeing this in one of the articles, I hadn't realized this was what happened to this guy, the track at Lamar is named after him.
The accident is the worst for Southeast Texas student athletes since April 28, 1968, when Lamar track coach Ty Terrell and five members of his nationally-ranked team died in a plane crash while returning to Beaumont from Iowa.

The bus wreck was horrible. I hope their friends and family are alright. I know that an entire school is affected when it looses students, my school lost more than enough while i was in highschool.

Hey Sebastian, could you send me a PM when you find out the new date for the show? I don't check this section too often and I'm scared i might miss it! I'd really like to come shoot the breeze and maby a few pictures. Thanks in advance.
