Water in intake! HELP!!
I have no clue what to do! Was out driving yesterday in all that rain we had here in Dallas, and hit a dip in the road. Car instantly stalled. So i pushed it to nearby parking lot to find the problem. Took off my lid and noticed my filter was soaking wet and saw water in the throttle body. Guess it sucked up thru the fast toy ram air, which i was warned about. Let her sit overnite to dry out, but she still wont start. No water in the oil. Is there anything I can do to get her running again or call insurance and handle it as a flood car????

rule #1, NEVER start a car that died due to water.
by doing so, you probably bent several rods and valves. That engine is toast
The right thing to do would have been to tow the car home, remove the sparkplugs so the water could drain, and then attempt cranking it to push the water out of the sparkplug holes.
Insurance claim time.
