https://ls1tech.com/forums/non-automotive-classifieds/474064-fs-remington-model-700-vs-sfii-308-cal-competition-rifle.html

Rifle is hardly been used, but now with a kid on the way, I need the money.

Thanks.

I work with someone that might be interested, sent him your link, he's a gun fanantic. I've been keeping my eyes open for a S&W-500, lowest I've seen has been $850 @a local gun show.

get to use one yet? i got to fire a 4" model!!! it wasn't as harsh as i thought it would be. but then again, it wasn't full strength loads. the harshest gun i've ever fired was a Ruger revolver (super redhawk i think), chambered in .454 Casull the thing cut my hand up!

I would like to stop by and look at the gun this weekend. I have wanted a Rem. 308 for the longest but can`t afford one. The barrel is floated right?

bump for anyone else interested.

al, i couldn't find my camera, but hopefully this pic shows you enough of the floating barrel. you can slide a dollar bill all down to the end of the barrel between the stock. i don't know if i explained that correctly.
