I work with someone that might be interested, sent him your link, he's a gun fanantic. I've been keeping my eyes open for a S&W-500, lowest I've seen has been $850 @a local gun show.

I would like to stop by and look at the gun this weekend. I have wanted a Rem. 308 for the longest but can`t afford one. The barrel is floated right?

the barrel is floating with aluminum bedding blocks. i'll put pics up later tonight.

al, i couldn't find my camera, but hopefully this pic shows you enough of the floating barrel. you can slide a dollar bill all down to the end of the barrel between the stock. i don't know if i explained that correctly.
