Best route to Sealy from College Station?

Best route to Sealy from College Station? I'm not really goin to Sealy, but tomorrow or the next day I'm goin to Columbus... I just need the best way to get to I-10. I looked it up on Mapquest, and it's sayin take Hwy 6 to TX-159 to FM 331 to TX-36, and then finally end up at I-10.
Isn't there a straight shot without winding through all these roads? How do ya'll usually get there?
