Default Looking for a Pontiac 400

Anybody know where a 400 is that came out of a Firebird, etc.? I've got a buddy who's looking for one.

LOL, man I dont think a lot of guys on here dont even know what a Pontiac 400 is! Well maybe a couple do. Your best bet is to look on a classic Pontiac forum, guys usally part out parts cars on there, http://www.transamcountry.com/forum/ , good luck. They put 400s in every thing back in the day, but its been a good 26 years since one was used in any thing.

not what you originally asked for but I do have a 454 block for sale and a nice crankshaft specialists billet 4.25 crank to go along with it if you feel like building a nasty 496

PM me a price on the 454. I'm trying to decide if I want to rebuild the 460 in the boat or swap it over to a BBC.

I got to hear the old Pontiac 350 that I pulled out of my old '69 about 2 weeks ago running again in another buddys '68 Firebird. It had a decent cam put in before I got it, but with the headers he put on it, it had that perfect muscle car sound.
