Need A/C advise!!! o.k. my compressor is now making that chattering noise so it's eventually going to blow any day now. So does anyone have one for sale and does anyone do "good" a/c work on the side?
I had an a/c tech check it and it's holding good pressure / no leaks and all but I guess the bearings in the compressor is going out. Is there a way to just replace the bearings before it breaks instead of having to buy the whole compressor, dryer, etc.
I found on carpart.com I can buy the bearing (links below)so I was wondering if anyone ever replaced this and it fixed the problem?
