I recently bought a set of 2006 Trailblazer heads off of Ebay (243 castings) to use on my 2001 Trans Am. I'm thinking of putting in a 02-04 Z06 cam for now (cheaper, no tuning required) and I'm not sure if the valves are the same length as LS6 valves, or standard LS1 size.

The reason I ask is that it will determine whether I need pushrods in 7.400 or 7.425 length to compensate for the Z06 cam's base circle reduction. Is it worth buying the LS6 intake and exhaust valves? thanks!

As a follow-up, are the valve spring in all 2005+ 243 castings #12586484? This the LS2 valve spring that suppsedly replaces LS6 psring #12565313. Thanks again.
