Title for my 4runner says "Mileage: exempt"?

Title for my 4runner says "Mileage: exempt"?
Well my dad just got the title for the 4runner in the mail and for somereason the mileage says exempt. Will I run into any problems because of this in the future? or does anyone know what it might say this? its a 96 4runner by the way.

Sounds like they're probably referring to the car's status. For a "Leisure car", insurance companies typically put some sort of a mileage limit. For a "commuter car", they don't care about mileage, since it's the vehicle you drive to and from work every day.

Typically on gasoline cars, after 100,000 miles the mileage reads exempt, Diesel will give you the actual mileage of the vehicle. in some cases the age of a gasoline vehicle will dictate an exempt status, because the state will just assume over 100,000 miles are on the vehicle.
