It was a damn fuse not the tranny after all woo-hoo. Lances pro plus in Tomball is kick *** and he's hella honest for letting me know and not raping me with a rebuild. Kinda relief b/c I wasn't looking forward to peeling out 1200 for a rebuild.

It was shifting just fine one through four but once I would nail it the rev limiter would kick in and it would hesitate and basically go nowhere. Thing is the fluid was not smelling burnt. I just figured it was going bad. To be honest I don't know which fuse it was but I'll find out for sure tomorrow and post it on here. He's installing the Hookers and a/c charge now.

I just came form the shop and it was the 15 amp fuse in the dash (I think pwr accs). This made no sense to me but he explained that when he hooked the computer to it he couldn't get a reading but once he checked and replaced the fuse all was just fine. I didn't believe it and he told me to drive it. I nailed it and dogged it out and she shifted like a pro, no issues. Oh yea for those who don't know it's a 98 SS with a 2000 running gear A4 4L60E. He'll have the Hookers on this evening and the a/c will be throwing ice cubes at ya!
