Car buying tips?
What is some good advice for dealing with car salesmen? I always feel like I'm getting screwed one way or another. I've found a '05 crew cab silverado that I like. I've already got the financing approved, so that'll be less of a hassle b/c they won't try to screw me on the monthly payment shopping deal. Any good tips?

Car buying
Go through the internet sales person to get your best deal. Didn't see if you were in Houston or not but we got a GREAT deal on a new Avalance from Mac Haik on I10 by the beltway.

B4 anything, make sure you get what you want!!!
don't let these idiots tell you this or that, you are in control and make the decisions. Hopefully u have good credit tho...
have them provide you with a carfax report, etc to check out the car's history.

I found a '05 Silverado that I like. Dark grey crew cab, 5.3, auto, leather, and all power with 50K miles for $21,9xx in Greenville near Dallas. Also the same truck minus leather but '06 model and 'greystone?' color with 25K miles in Shreveport for the same price. I really need leather with my 1yr old daughter. I thought about asking for a carfax, the salesman gave us one when we got our Jeep Liberty last year. BTW what was the price on the Avalanche?
