I have been tossing around the idea of starting my own small business lately, nothing serious, just maybe something like a self storage facility. I never really noticed how popular these places were until I decided to keep my car in storage. The average rent for the units was about $120-$160 each. I went to 6 different places in my area, in which all were completely full. The best part was that it only takes one person to run the office. Now I recently have come into a large sum of money (about $30,000) and I would really like to move forward with this, except for the fact that I have no clue where to start. If any of you have started your own business, and have any advice, PLEASE inform me.
