Default car auctions in houston

Anyone been to one of these? How nice are the cars there? I was looking into the new G35 sedans and my dad told me I could find pretty low mileage cars there for $10k under sticker sometimes. I hear there is a popular one on Wednesday nights. Anyone know?

You can't get into any good auctions without a dealer's license. You can't get one of those without a legitimate business. The public auctions aren't worth going to, for the most part.

The PHH cars are off-lease, and sometimes OK.

<-------------- Wholesale Dealer

They are worth your time, but $10,000 off of sticker on a car that is only 5 months old and still in hot demand is a little far fetched. The one I bought had 3200 miles on it and I paid $32,900 with fee's. That was $2100 under invoice, or $3250 under sticker. It was not a great color scheme so thats why I got it cheap. I sold it for $34,600....

Now if it was a one year old GM or Ford Vehicle, $10,000 off is not that hard to believe. I bought an 07 DTS for $34,000 out of rental fleet service. Sticker was $52,500. Has 26,000 miles on it.

Its about about what your looking for and at....

Yea that is what I had figured. My dad must have been mistaken. I did not think I could get that much off. Would it be almost worth just getting it new? or no because of TTL fees?

TTL fees are based on the sales price, with the exception of a couple of small fees that won't matter much anyway. Not a lot of difference, if the sales price is close to the same. This is assuming that that the dealer friend reports the actual sales price.
