Help! Who do you trust in north Houston/Spring/Woodlands to fix your car A/C???
My a/c just went out in my camaro and I need it fixed ASAP. It's HOT!! I'm guessing I need a new compressor since it doesn't look like the front of it's spinning at all. I just wanna make sure the place isn't gonna rip me off on what I really need and also, I wanna make sure no one is gonna be goin on a joyride in my car! thanks

I wish it was hot and not raining.
I never use my A/C unless the passengers wants it. I grew up without AC in south texas, so heat dont phase me which is why Im freezing whenever its below 60. But I guess it dont hurt do get a 2-3 estimates for starters, until they do the work and say it need more stuff.

If you've got a leak, the system has a low pressure switch that should keep it from coming on. May be as easy as putting more freon in, but then again, if it's low, it had to have leaked out from somewhere. I've smoked 4-5 compressors myself, luckily my family owns an A/C company.
