Default Has nayone blew thier ps pump hitting a donut?

After getting in from another 4 week work cycle I finally picked the ride up from the paint shop last night. I drove back to the truck stop where I park my 600 hp co work vehicle, got some stuff out and went to leave. Well being it's the holidays it was unusually empty and the security guy there motioned for me to "hit it". So I did just that and noticed after I was through (maybe three or four times) my power steering was gone. I popped the hood and noticed there was ps fluid under the hood but the reservoir was full. Anywho let me know what this might be (I'm thinking ps pump) thanks guys. I will post pics of the ride later today after i buy a charger for my dig camera.

I made a powered U turn on the street one time and broke the power steering pump shaft in half. It looked fine but when I took the belt off the pulley just pulled out of the pump.
