Why is it that Utah has a worse record than New Orleans, Dallas, and Houston, but they are ahead in the standings? It has been like this for the past week. I dont get it.

Interesting...pretty shitty to me. Thanks for the info. I do have another question as well regarding the Rockets. Anytime that a game is broadcast on Fox Sports, they will always replay the game at 12am for Time Warner (Comcast now I guess). Now that I have DirecTv, I never receive the replay. Is it because Im in Houston? I work from 3pm to 11pm, and I always have to miss the game. I would really like to be able to watch the replay at midnight. Anyone else experience this?

Kind of, but it really doesn't matter all that much. Home court advantage is decided on record. Say Utah stays the 3 seed and the Rockets move up to the 6. If the Rockets finish the season with a better record overall, they have home court advantage in round 1 even though they are worse in the standings.
