dang that sux rip

looks like he mightve taken that turn a bit too fast and lost it the car looked flipped and its not exactly easy to flip a car that sits 6" above the ground

this type of thing is the exact reason i didn't really give my camaro all it had until i had been driving it for a few months, to get almost completely acclimated with the power/handling characteristics of it.....and my Z was bone stock then.

i know it had to be a great feeling getting a brand-spanking-new Z06, but you can't really just rush into doing crazy **** in a vehicle that you've had for a whole week and expect to be a pro at driving it.

it sucks that this had to happen, i feel for his family & friends....but at the same time, hopefully it will be a bit of a wakeup call to other people out there that they need to have some respect for the power these things make.

i'm just glad they didn't take out anyone else with them.

the gentlemen was the corvette sales manager at champion.my buddy purchased a vette from him last week,he went back yesterday wanting to talk to him about some details, he said there was a black bow on his office door,he was a bit confused until a salesperson gave him the terrible news.
