The thread was going downhill fast. That leaves me two options...lock the thread (which I did)...or wait until eventually someone says something that is against site policy and gets a time out.
I didn't want to ban anyone, so I locked the thread and the problem stopped. It is sad when people take a perfectly good thread and side track it into an argument and make it get locked though.
