Sounds like you better jump on it. Then you can pay him what he just "gave" you for another car that goes down in value and ten years from now you can try selling it for 75% of what it costs new...good luck with that.
Sorry to take this out on you. Just tired of everyone trying to sell 10 year old cars for 2008 blue book prices. Look around, not too many people walking around with access to $10k cash. Most who do are holding onto it. Everyone else has to try to get a loan. You can see that isn't working too good lately either.
