2002 Camaro Z28 35th Ann. M6 - 56k - blown motor
Year: 2002
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $4500
Mileage: 56000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): RI
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
As usual my luck runs out and the LQ9 blew up at half peddle in first gear. Pretty sure its a broken rod/piston/maybe a valve. Not taking it apart. Getting out of the f-body hot rod scene for a while because its taking a toll on my life and bank account.
2002 Camaro Z28 35th Anniversary
56,000 original miles
SS grille, hood (needs replace), spoiler
Clean black interior with that cool cloth door pattern
12 disc cd changer
Power everything
Cruise control
No traction control
T56
Ls7 clutch (30k)
Tick master cylinder
Stock 3.42 rear (vague noise on highway)
Stock suspension
C5 wheels painted black that need to be cleaned up with brand new nitto nt555s on the back
Car is setup for spray with wot switch on off switch and purge just needs the bottle and lines put in
Motor was/is an lq9 with a fast 90/90, patriot stage 2 5.3 heads, torquer 2 cam, FLP longtubes, SLP lid, ram air. Car also has a very nice spintech dual exhaust.
What it needs....
-obvious a bottom end and maybe a valve or 2
-clutch re-bled because it still sinks a little i dont think we bled it right
-hood
-re-paint on wheels
Other then that i think this is a pretty nice project car considering the miles, year, and 6 speed.

Not going to bother messing around with the price on this thing. I need it gone. Want to buy a new car. 4500 FIRM. You can part this thing out for way more then that or throw a motor in it and sell it for 9000.

My apologizes to all the inquiries on the phone. The reason for lack of pictures is i still havent had the car towed back to my house from the shop and i'm at work during the light hours of the day. AAA had me waiting over an hour yesterday and i had to bail out. Hoping to get the car home tomorrow night but in the mean time i might run over to the shop and snap a few interior pics tonight.
