Default FS: 2000 Z28 LPM M6 C/I/Milled Heads

Year: 2000
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro
Price: $7000
Mileage: 112000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Color: Beige
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I am selling only to get an older Camaro otherwise I would not sell the car it is part of mine and my wife's life and it will be missed if it sells, the car is a daily driver, and recently swapped from auto to M6.

A good amount of you know the car and how nice I keep it. It is a Pewter (LPM) car with a hardtop with absolutely no bubbling. Has black interior as 2000-2002 do. Recently swapped to 6 speed. Now to the good stuff

Engine:
LS1 stock short block
Texas Speed 228R cam (228/228 .588/.588 @ 112 LSA)
241 cast heads with Patriot Gold Springs (Milled .042")
LS6 intake
Pacesetter headers: with NO AIR or EGR provisions they are the race headers
Texas Speed Off Road Y pipe
- it needs some attention it hangs low on the driver side, I have heard this
- is an issue, I spent a good amount of time trying to adjust it.
Magnaflow Cat Back
SLP Lid and Smooth Bellow
Recently did my 3k oil change
Also put new spark plugs in, NGK Tr55
CMS has a working tune on it from the 6 speed swap
TSP Ported and Shimmed LS6 oil Pump (works perfect still get amazing oil pressure)
InMotion Singe adjustable timing chain.

Transmission/Rear:
Tremec t56
WS6 store Short Stick
Pistol Grip Handle with Z28 lettering
Hurst stock shifter
McLeod Super Street single disc multi puck clutch
Tick Master Cylinder
Aluminum Driveshaft
10 bolt 3.42:1 rear

Suspension/Wheels:
It has bilstein shocks out back
Stock shocks up front
Stock springs (I am throwing in a set of Hyperco springs front and rear)
Founders adjustable PHB off the car but will go with the car
Also included are low mile (unknown) KYB GR2 shocks for the front (full assembly)
ZR1 replica rims
17x11 out back with nitto 555r tires with about 40-50% tread life
Fronts are 17x9.5's and tires I will update later when i double check the brand.

So the car was swapped from auto to t56, it goes into gear but not as smoothly as it should. Also the console lid is not in great shape it needs a new one.

Paint I would say is about 9/10 ( a few scratches here and there I am really picky about this so it might be better than i say)
Interior 9/10
Mechanically it is 9/10 I would say 10/10 but the shifting issue is the only thing.

I have done oil changes every 3k miles the car currently has 111k miles on it and runs perfect.

You can call/text me at 6 two 6 2 2 2 seven 8 9 0
I can provide pics to interested parties.
I am asking $7000 as it is, I have an extra pilot bearing that will go with the car as well.

I am in Riverside near Corona, don't ask to test drive or even look at it without cash and no low balling.

Oh it shifts into gear but the tick is adjusted all the way out and you have to put your foot to the floor to disengage the clutch. I may pull the trans to check the slave, as I am 100% sure the issue lies in the slave or hydraulics. Otherwise I have been driving it the past couple weeks to and from work 80 mile round trip in traffic and it shifts fine.

I am just very nit picky and I am sure lots of people don't mind dealing with that but I wanted to be up front about it. I think you should be perfect driving it from here to Texas without an issue. This car has been great to me over the last 5 years.

Do you know anyone in Southern California that you trust to check the car out? If so I can arrange meeting up. Otherwise let me know if you're still interested and we can figure it out.

Not interested in the car. Was this m6 swap difficult? How much did you end up spending on it? Thanks GLWS!

I spent about $350 out of pocket, I was able to sell my fully built 4l60e and fti 3800 stall and other items to complete the swap at a great price. A friend also sold me the t56 it came from his bone stock car that was extremely well taken care of.

It was not hard I had to redo a harness to make an LS engine harness work with and LT body harness and after that, this was cake. Only had to solder a couple wires and repin one. If you want cruise control to work another wire needs to be repinned and a little more wiring needed to connect the brake and clutch.
