1987 Mazda RX-7 Turbo 2, Black with grey interior 144K+
The good
New Engine. Rebuilt at 140K. 3rd gen rotor housings, 3rd gen seals and springs.
2+2 backseat conversion w/seatbelts. (will include original storage bins if wanted)
New front tires. Picture shows wrong rear wheels, but I will install the matching/year correct wheels.
the bad
sunroof leaks, but it comes with a spare, color correct power sunroof.
has some intake and exhaust leaks, still makes 5 pounds of boost. Was over 8 pounds when all sealed up.
Drivers door lock doesn't work from the outside. Someone tried to break in this winter.
This is not the nicest chassis in the world, but it is a real turbo 2 and it is stupid fast. Even with the leaks it'll put you sideways without much thought.
1988 Mazda RX7 GTU
1991 tuned port 305 small block chevy, TPIS throttle body, chipped, engine, computer, and harness completely divorced from donor car before removal. This fuel injected swap runs off 3 wires. Borg Warner T5 world class GM trans with Hurst shifter. Have the GM tilted bellhousing and a BBC straight up bell. Grannys Speed Shop Chevy V8 engine cradle, fits SBC and LS1 engines. T-5 5-speed crossmember. also have T56 6-speed / automatic Trans crossmember . Have complete exhaust, from headers to pipe tips for an automatic V8 conversion. Have a pair of brand new jeep v8 conversion headers, popular with this swap. Also have 1 3/4" stainless fbody headers if you wanted to go that route. Have one driveshaft, cut and yoked for a automatic v8 conversion.
Have an 1988 Turbo coupe big rear differential with rebuildable posi. remote mount Toyota MR2 electric power steering pump, new old stock. Spare quick ratio Turbo PS rack. 1 pair 16" 88 turbo coupe wheels, 1 pair 17" mustang bullet wheels, need refinished.
I've been collecting parts for this swap for 5 years, i'll edit the ad as i find more stuff.
