2000 Pontiac Trans Am
Year: 2000
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $5400
Mileage: 119000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): VA
Color: Red
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
LS Engine?: Car has LS engine
I have a 2000 Burgundy Trans Am for sale. T-top 6-speed manual.
Let me just say what is wrong with it that I know of.
Main issue: It seems that the 3rd and 4th gear Synchro's are going bad. It grinds going into both gears, though with treating her nicely and letting the RPMs calm down, it will usually slide right in. Reverse seems to be a bit of a pain to get her into, but the rest of the gears are just fine.
Paint is fine except for the rear driver side panel, clear coat is coming off and a decent size paint chip out of the trunk. I'll show pictures of the car upon request ( I can not post them at the moment. )
EDIT: O2 sensor fixed, no more SES light.
Small Crack in the Dash
Window driver side motor not working. (Very slow, I don't use the window anymore, due to not wanting to completely wear the motor out)
And the center console has been busted, still there just does not latch closed.
I have heard ( I can not confirm nor know how ) that it is cammed. Supposedly a small cam.
It does have SLP headers on her, just I personally do not know which kind.
Anyways, that's all I know. She has the normal piston slap being cold, but starts right up no problems.
Listing to see what offers I get, I am located in Norfolk, VA. I will be leaving soon and I think she deserves a home who will take care of her better than I can.
