I haven't planned on selling it, but recent changes in health are forcing me to get rid of it.
First off, the car is overall in very good condition. That being said, there are some flaws.
Now for some details.
2001 SS, M6, 78k miles, ebony interior, t-tops.
Let me get the bad stuff out of the way.
As far as aesthetics go, all of the exterior lights could use a good cleaning. Some of them have retained moisture, so they aren't pretty.
Front passenger fender is a slightly off color red. To my understanding just the fender was painted at some time in the past, and it doesn't match perfectly. This is one of the things that I've been meaning to take care of, but haven't gotten around to. The car does have a clean carfax, no accidents.
The car still has a factory 10 bolt rear end. it has been upgraded to a 373 gear, and it whines quite a bit. Personally, I don't trust it, and wouldn't take the car on any long trips, or to a track until it has been dealt with.
That being said, I've put a couple thousand miles on it with it howling, and it's been fine.
I have an 8.8 rearend that has been modified and is ready to go into an fbody, all it needs is axles, and it would be ready to go. The rear end could be included for the right price.
Needs tires asap.
Mod list:
Engine: SBE ls6 out of a z06 with arp rod bolts, only 3000 miles on bottom end.
Advanced Induction "HCR" 219cc ported 241's milled to 58.5cc
Cometic 0.040" gaskets ~11.5:1
Custom spec cam by Phil at AI
Fast 102 ported by Tony Momo
Nick Williams 102 throttle body
It has basic cam supporting mods - Melling oil pump, ls7 lifters, 7.3" hardened pushrods, ls2 timing chain, ARP head bolts.
Exhaust: 1 7/8" Texas speed long tubes, 4" manual cutout with SLP catback
Transmission: Stock t56 with Monster Stage 3 clutch, and Tick adjustable master cylinder.
Fuel: Racetronix 255 pump with FAST 37lb injectors.
Suspension Bilestein shocks with 6k miles on them. Strano springs, sub frame connectors
Adjustable torque arm, transmission kmember with torque arm relocation off of the tailshaft. The car also has a tubular Kmember, and PST aluminum driveshaft.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, so feel free to ask.
The car made 446/393 at Shortuning, at the time, and still to my knowledge making it the record holder for highest horsepower NA 5.7.
These numbers are straight dyno dyanmics (heart breaker) numbers.
