The car is a 2004 RX8. Unsure of chassis mileage off of the top of my head but i can check if interested. The interior center console has a broken lid which can easily be replaced. The factory gauges do not work but i have quite a few gauges that go with it. A few of which are already installed (AEM Wideband, Oil Pressure, Coolant temp). Factory gauges were not retained due to the plan of going with an aftermarket ECU in the future.
The motor is a SBE Iron block 5.3L. It has ported and milled 862 heads equipped with Brian Tooley Dual valve springs, a new comp cams camshaft, new main and rod bearings. LS1 intake and Ford green top 42# injectors along with holley fuel rails. Fed by an AEM 320lph in tank pump, this is an E85 car at the moment.
ECU is an unlocked 99 PCM with a base tune on it. THE CAR STARTS, FIRES, IDLES, REVS.
Transmission is a rebuilt TH400 with a Yank 3500 stall converter. The Trans was bought second hand and I was told it had been rebuilt. Im assuming it was with all stock parts.
The stock fuel cell has been removed and a custom one was fabricated and installed. There is an access panel in the trunk to get to the top of the cell for easy access to the pump and fuel level sending unit if need be. The factory fill tube is still used so you can get fuel just as if the car was stock.
A ford 8.8 IRS will also be included with the car. It has yet to be touched and is a stock pull out from a SN95 mustang.
So whats needed to get the car moving you ask? Off the top of my head the main components would be:
Front brake lines
Driveshaft
Shifter
trans cooler mounted and lines ran
Gauges installed
air intake
Throttle cable
Im asking $8k cash, or am willing to entertain trade offers. Trades can be anything including other cars, Motors, Transmissions, bolt ons, etc. Feel free to ask any questions and i can get more pics for serious buyers.
