Default WTB: Cheap LS1/6-speed car on East coast

Im looking to buy a donor LS1 car for my Rx-7 swap project. Car condition doesnt matter to me much, I will just be taking the engine/trans and wiriing harness, and selling off the rest. Must be a 6-speed. Let me know what you guys got. I am located in Western PA, willing to travel a bit. Thanks

Looking for something in the sub $5k range. Alls I really need is a good engine/trans and wiring harness. I realize for that price it may be a wrecker or in bad shape body-wise.

Im not looking for a nice low milage car here, just something with a good driveline. Ive actually found a few but all have been alot further than Im willing to drive to pick up, and cost of shipping would be too much to warrant the cars value.

Good luck. Have you considered going to a local shop with a good reputation and asking them to use their connections for parts to assemble you a fresh one? Might be cheaper than buying a whole car, less hassle, and then you'll have a good opportunity to have them upgrade during assembly saving you a bunch of labor. If you're lucky you might get a freshly rebuilt LS1 with your choice of clutch, and upgraded hydraulics, for under 3 to 4 thousand dollars. Just a suggestion.
