Exclamation (((Borla corvette question)))

which system is gunna sound louder , but what is gunna sound clean?
plans include lg motorsports lts and offroad on c5 z06 with either
borla stingers
or borla xr-1 exhausts.......?

just wanted to see what people have run and how they sound w/o a cam......

i have youtubed them both, but still undecided

I like the Stingers. They sound very nice and aggresive. The xr-1 are cool too but I would use those on a cammed car but if youre stock with just lt's then I'd go with the Stingers.

I agree.
I loved the sound of the Stingers on my z06 with the LG long tubes. Just down shift into 3rd on the freeway when the hondas with the fart cans start reving on you and watch them back off real fast.

Stingers are loud and sound nasty. Hard to go wrong with any borla catback on a vette though.

What's the difference in sound between the 2 types? (i.e., tone, rasp?)

Stingers are on the louder side, more of a flow thru muffler. The XR-1 have a deeper tone with less resonance.
