Default Recommendations for shipping the Z across country?

I've been getting quotes from places I've found searching online but would like to know if there are any companies recommended by fellow members. I would like to have someone I can trust to ship it across the country without having it dented or scraped while put onto the truck (it's really low - gfx are maybe 3" off the ground and I can't fit my hand under the high-flow cat).

I have found that most of the tranporters are simply service providers for the drivers or brokers. Most will also say almost anything to get your business. I myself have shipped 3 cars over the past 15 months. If I were to ship again, I too would be in the same boat with you in terms of who or which company to choose. Maybe someone here knows a transport driver personally......

uship.com

its like ebay for shipping cars. They all bid on your job, and you can read reviews for each company. Worked great for me.

Has anyone kept their cars licensed in the previous state? The car is currently in someone else's name in the state I'm shipping it from and I'm considering just keeping it that way. I called up DMV and they said that was ok to do. Of course, I question this.
