My friend told me that GM was going to be at Hollywood park on FRI-SUN from 10-5 and free lunch..... Sorry for the late notice :/ I'll be there tomorrow. Who is in?

You will be able to test drive vehicles aswell.

I'm not sure if you can just show up, or have to register on line.

My buddy did the one at Santa Anita race track and said it was pretty cool.

You could've just showed up. I registered and enjoyed it for what it was. The tracks were way too short to get a good feel for the car (especially if you're behind someone going 10 mph). Of the cars I drove, the Tahoe was my favorite. I wish they didn't need to have a GM co-pilot in the Camaros and Corvettes, but it's understandable that they didn't want people to wreck. I really dug the HUDs, although going through the track I didn't notice them once.

I enjoyed it personally. The track was short, didn't expect a 1/4 mile stretch. I got a lot out of the Grand Sport. I liked the ride of the v6 Camaro better than the SS. The Volt was a pleasant surprise. BTW who cannot enjoy hanging out talking to the Fbodfather? Just my .02.
