Default pushrod length HELP....

So I have the pushrod length checker I'm getting 10 turns on it so 10x.05 =.5 + pushrod checker 6.8 = 7.3 +.075 preload = 7.375 right.......

But I also tried Shane's method I get the stock pushrods bring the cam to button lobe put stock lifter on turn bolt to zero lash than torque down to 22 lbs I'm getting 1 1/4 turns to 22 lbs from zero lash so is a 7.375 pushrod a correct length I need ?

If you are getting 1 1/4 and are certain you are on base circle you should be just fine. Most aim for 1 1/4 to 1 3/4. Mines is a tad high at 1 13/16" int and 1 7/8" exh. If you are running a stock long block the standard is a 7.4".
