I run 295's all the way around, and you're right they only look good on black c5's but they look amazing on electron blue z's. Plus we all know blue is the fastest color.
Hmm sounds like a challenge. Lol. 30 or 35 series tires?

Im in between these two tires. Toyo proxes r888 and michelin pilot sport cups. Both are great but the toyos are a bit cheaper, at least $80 a tire. Opinions? Car will see some street but a lot of canyon roads and some track days. Not overly concerned on treadwear. 295/30r18 and sorry Nitto fans, couldnt find them in that size.

Jerry knows how well the R888 work especially on a road course...

Well I ordered the Toyo's today. The shop will have them tomorrow and my wheels should arrive on Wednesday. Should have them mounted on Friday. I'll get some pics when they come in.

In pursuit of my goal of putting together a quick street car with track day capabilities, I ordered a C6 Z06 brake setup. Need that stopping power to match the go power.

C6Z calipers
Centri cross drilled zinc coated rotors
Hawk HPS (one piece) pads
SS lines and Motul brake fluid

Busy day today. Started off by replacing the bent rear tie rod and removing the fenders and bumper.

We test fitted the new fenders and bumper to get a good idea of what to expect. The rear is sitting high since it was lifted as we worked on the suspension but itll settle down later and lower so itll fill in the gap better.
