Default Anyone know a good shop to install gears in So. Cal?

I wanna have 4.10 gears installed in my car, and it has the dreaded Torsen LSD in it. I also want to purchase the gears from the shop. Does anyone know of a good shop to do the work, and how much do they charge? I don't wanna pay close to $700 for a gear install.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated

Hey whats up? Give Joe or Bryan a call at (760) 200-5155. They can do it and order the gears. I replied in the mach1 forum too, later.

I know the labor is $350 at Don Lee's. The rest depends on if you buy your own gears or have DLA get them. I'm sure you know, but if you get them yourself....get an install kit, bearing set, and ofcourse the gears.

Well I need more then just the bearing set and the ring and pinion gear. I've read that I need the paddle shift kit, which is $150 This is only cause I have the torsen lsd.

Taylor, I was told $550 by Race Prep, but I dunno if that includes the parts. I really don't wanna spend $700+ for a gear install. If that's the case might as well just buy a nitrous kit :p

I doubt that $550 was for everything. Either way, you will be spending close to if not more than $700 when you're all done.
