Good reputation and prices. When I called, I inquired about a torque converter. They suggested not going over a 2600 stall. Don't think the guy I spoke to was too educated on their use.

I had a R&R done on a transmission with them; the did it in about an hour and charged a very good rate. Took a friend there and he had an R&R done plus their custom shift kit, he was very pleased. Nothing but good things to say about them; then came with very high recommendations which were well deserved.

No good tranny shops in San Diego so we drove 100 miles one way to have the work done and were not disappointed. Shop is nothing much to look at, but don't let that scare you, Mike and Kendall both know their **** and have been around a good many years. I wouldn't hesitate to trust them with anything to do with a GM transmission. Any questions PM me.

Yes, I highly reccomend them.. not only do they know thier stuff but they are honest as well.

I sent my boss there for what he thought was a bad trans. Turned out to be a bad alternator so they charged him $100 and sent him on his way. They could have sold him a complete rebuild but they took the honest route.

As said, nothing much to look at but they know their ****!

When you go there look at the articles on the wall in the waiting room. Pretty interesting; Mike actually helped GM during the development of the 4L60E transmission. They used to send him their lemons and buy-backs and he used to fix them. Then, in turn, he would tell them what he did and GM would implement his changes in the next iteration of the tranny. Smart guy, and very experienced.

You couldn't be in better hands.

They fully rebuilt mine with hardened internals and it kicks ***, tell Mike (the owner) Rob with the 30th TA says hi.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

Cheers,

Had a 60e built there and worked good for around 100 passes with 500 rwhp and started having pumps die on me. After 3 pumps I got rid of it. Mike does stand behind his trans, but the 60e just doesn't hold alot of power. I have a built 80e now and no more problems.
