The Unanswered Question... WHEN IS DESERT NATIONALS? Being that its not my event so to speak, I'd like to ask the people who are in charge of this. Last year it was in April and the weather was great in the desert. Now its middle of summer and hot as hell. I remember the threads being made about it, and all the talk, but unless I missed something it didnt go down... Any insight as to when you guys may put up the 2nd annual desert nationals? Who's organizing it? Should we just skip this year and go straight to the DN2K8?

What it came down to is location......
Their are no tracks to run at, we looked
How many people would be down for a Private track rental? Invitation only with a potluck BBQ?
Maybe have it setup with no times on the boards for a street type atmosphere?

Nah, its died down alot up there, hell there are never any races up there. I'd rather have it early spring as the weather is the best, fall/winter it actually gets really cold up in the desert. Well if anyone ever gets to organizing it please post up. I'm putting together something shortly. If you want to attend do so, if you dont no biggie. I would love to see your car out there Will I think it will handle almost anything thrown at it.

Perris is shut down! So no more LACR no more Perris two of the shittiest tracks with the worst track prep, but the best for hot lapping and T&T ing.
I would rather wait to let the weather cool down. I'm having a custom TT setup being started on Monday, so thats going to be a month or so, trying to get it ready for the LSX Shoot out in Tennessee. I also might have to cancel for the Pinks show in LV on the 8th of sept. Looks like I'll need alot more tuning and other stuff to get the car going.
But for the most part Oct/Nov seems to be a good time to set it up. so everyone get your rides going!
