Attention everyone!
CCSD's Fall Classic Car Show has been moved! Because of a misunderstanding with the port district, which
administers the parks in the area, the Embarcadero Park, North will be unavailable. We have been moved
to Tidelands Park in Coronado, located at the base of the Coronado Bridge on the Coronado side.
To get there, take the bridge, then take the very first two right turns after the toll plaza. You'll be there.
The show is still scheduled for Sunday, September 16 from 9 AM to 3 PM. Registration begins at 7 AM, so please
arrive after that time. There is lots of space, so we let folks find their own spots within the designated area
(except for a small space which is reserved for special guests). If you are part of a group who wishes to park
together, it is a good idea to arrive as a group.
Featured guests this year are Bumblebee from the movie "Transformers" and the FbodFather himself, Scott
Settlemire.
Tidelands Park is a very nice venue for a car show, quite similar to Embarcadero Park. It is situated right across
the bay from the old venue. Instead of Coronado for a view, you get the San Diego skyline. Tidelands Park is
much larger, so we will not be using the whole park as we did in the past.
