Someone wants to trade an 85 MC SS for my LS1 SS... should i? Really the question is, how much money should i ask him for? He came at me with 500, plus me keep my subs and system, and my wheels. It is an 85 MC SS with a 400 and 50000 miles. Mine is a 99 SS 6 speed with all mods in sig, minus nitrous, headers, x pipe, intake and hptuners, and minus the suspension stuff. My car has 170k on it, and it is a salvaged title. How much should i ask him for plus his car? 2k? 1.5k? 1k? how much do you guys think? Thanks

Is the MC SS super clean? Low miles? The MC's have a strong following and clean examples are bringing good money, $6K - $8K depending on miles, year, and options. If it is a super clean low miles car and you really want it then it would be a straight trade. Good shape, high miles, may need some TLC, get as much as you can in cash. Start at $2500 and go down from there. It will all come down to what you can negotiate out of the guy.
