92 Z28w/ 96 LT1 motor.... Came across this on craigslist.
1992 Camaro with a 96 LT1 from a corvette, Borg warner 5speed tranny, rebuilt bored .30 over flat top pistons, vortect heads, cam from trickflow with lifters. Hooker headers new clutch posi rear-end. 60lb injectors.
I just talked to the guy and from what he CLAIMS, it made 470 to the wheels with the stock cam I believe? The guy he bought it from wanted 500whp so he put a trickflow cam in (dont know the specifics) but it wont run because its throwing the computer off too bad and the injectors are spraying enough fuel in I guess.
He bought it like this not runnning and has a 4 barrel carb and intake for it and was going to do away with the fuel injection but now just wants to get rid of it.
If what he says is true would a dyno tune fix this? What would be needed to get it running?
The body is in ok shape, needs paint bad and rear tires.
Just wanted to get some opinions, not really looking for a project but this intrigued me.
