98 T/A WS6 whats it worth I found a 98 Trans am ws6 black with beige int. behind the local chevy dealer. I called and asked about it and they told me 6500. I managed to talk them down to 6200. Everything looks good it is a true ws6 ( i ran the rpo). It needs back tires, new ones are brand new. main issue is it has 160,000 miles. is it worth it or am paying way too much

As long as you get the car check out by a mechanic that you trust (not theirs) and you relize you are going to buy a car with 160k miles on it then the price is not bad. more than clean trade in value but less than retail. However they would be putting new tires on the rear. 
if the tires are worn down to an unsafe (by law) condition then they have to replace them prior to selling.
