Thinking about Selling-2001 Trans Am Modded
Hey guys. I have a nice 2001 Trans Am I am thinking about selling to finish my 1938 Chevy project. Heres what is done to it:
Less than 200 miles on rebuilt LS1 and Tranny
Motor:
Stock block bored to 3.905
Speed Pro forged pistons
Torquer V3 cam
LS7 lifters
Lingefelter Stage II LS6 heads
LS6 intake
Racetronix 42 lbs injectors
TPIS Ceramic Coated headers
3" true dual X-pipe with bullets dumped (Sounds sweet!)
Tuned by Frost (base tune)
Tranny:
14 Clutch pack
Hughes 3800 billet converter w/ nitrous anti-balloon plate
Billet input shaft
Suspension:
BMR Subframe connectors
UMI Torque arm relocation bracket
Wheels/Tires:
ZO6 OE Concept Black wheels w/ new summitomos
(less than 1000 miles on them)
Stereo:
10" MTX Sub in Stealth box w/ 500 watt amp
Pioneer Mids
I still owe about $5000.00 on it and I just put over $5000.00 in it....so I am thinking a fair price is between $10,000-12000. What do you guys think? You'll also notice in the pics, I powdercoated everything so it looks uper sharp! Only catch is the body has 140,000 miles.....I know lots of miles, but everything is new. Chime in with your opinions!

No one will appreciate what you have done except YOU. You might find someone but the typical buyer will see only the 140,000 miles and wonder if all the work was done right. Will they gamble $10,000+ on it? I doubt it but you should definitely try anyway. Getting someone to come out and test drive it might be the key. Good luck!
