2002 firebird 3.8 V6
trying to sell my 2002 firebird. Im the original owner and its never spent a night out of the garage. The car only has 8344 miles on it, 3.8V6 auto,t-tops,factory body kit, susp was upgraded at the dealership, and a chip put in the computer(so i was told, runs like heck),17 in atermarket wheels. It only has a couple of very small scratches. it is currently listed but i'm wondering if i'm asking too much,,,

Yeah, that is too high in my opinion. Is the car worth that? Probably but it is not a realistic price. An LS1 car with the same incredibly low miles would sell around the $20,000 neighborhood so the price range is too close for your car. I looked up KBB retail just for grins even though they don't account for such low miles. In my zip code they say the car is worth about $10,300. I say as that is way too low. There are 'premiums' involved for any extremely low mileage car, no matter what type. I'm figuring somewhere in between your price and KBB, somewhere in the $12,000 to $13,000 range. A one owner, near mint example such as yours would be highly desireable for anyone, not just a young person, as a wonderful daily driver. I mean where can you get a car like that for that money? I certainly would buy it for that price instead of buying a new Suzuki or Kia or some other crappy car (My apologies to anyone that owns one. It is just my opinion). Start the pricing anywhere you like but when you start getting a few calls as you lower the price, then you know you are in the right pricing area. Good luck! It must be tough to sell a car like that. May I ask why you are selling and why it was barely driven?

the car was purchased as a car me and the wife were going to travel in,but she passed away in 2004 and i just dont drive it that much,,rather see someone who wants an essentially new firebird enjoy it,,the car has never spent a night outside and only in the rain once,,so yes i'm asking premium,,,but i think the car is worth it,,but then thats me. I feel the price is a good starting point, open to negotiation,,if i dont ask premium,,i'll be getting calls offering $5,000 all day long and its not going that low
