16in wheels
anyone run an after market 16in wheel that looks halfway decent. Reason being i have new et streets on a stock pair of wheels and good rubber up front. traded my 18s that i daily drove on and now all i have are draglites with et drags. just wanna swap rims not tires and all

I don't have any problem with 16's. I think the ride quality with them is significantly better than my 17's. My only issue, and the reason I got the 17's, is that there aren't any good tires out there for them. A 255/50/16 is all that you can get, and I think the 275/40/17 is a better tire, and there are more choices. The 16 inch wheels are also lighter.

I'm having the same debate. I have factory chrome 16's, wanting a dr set up. Most 17's, especially the aftermarket copies of OE wheels are significantly heavier. I think I would lose my mind if I bought 17's only to feel the extra weight and loss of acceleration etc. Are you talking about running 16" wheels and street tires or just a pair for DR's?
