Default Quick question?

what is the biggest tire that i can put on stock 98' ls1 camaro wheels. the wheels are the stock 5 spokes. i have 255 45 16's now would like to put some wider tires on

any help would be greatly apperciated

I think thats as big as you are going to go on the stock 16s. Arn't they only a 8 in wheel?

yea i am not sure how wide the wheel is? is 255 the widest you can go on 8 inch wheels??

If they are the factory 16" wheels, then they should be 8" wide. According to the sticky, the max you should run would be a 245, but since you've handled the 255s before, go for it. I wouldn't go wider on an 8" wheel though - that would be a safety issue.
