have speedlines widened at the lip, not the inside

i want to extend my speedlines from the outside instead of the inside and using wheel spacers. has anyone ever seen this?

I was told that you could have the lips widened if they are wide enough to cut and add lip to. They'd have to be somewhere around an inch or so already.

Why not call someone like Weld Craft to see if this can be done?
Ive only seen these widened from the inside.
