Default wheel polishing help?

I have an old school set of enkei win wheels and i stripped all the clear off hte lips and i want to polish them so the lip looks as shiny as the tt2's but right now they are so dull what steps can i use to polish them up .. i know wet sand them but im not sure abt wat grit etc any help would b greatly appreciated thanks!

If the surface is already smooth you would be safe to start with 1500 grit and then finish with 2000 grit and then polish up with a good billet polish. Being that the wheel is quality the aluminum should be good alloy and polish up nice. I'd be intrested in seeing pics when done. Make sure to keep paper wet!!!!
