Default What color to powder coat ZR1's

Long story short, bought a set of ZR1's with the silver camaro I bought back in Sept. Been waiting for an excuse to put them on with a new set of tires. Well, last week I got a flat, and the tire can not be repaired .

So, the ZR1's were polished aluminum but have become very faded. I've tried polishing and polishing them....even sanded them down to 400 grit and worked my way back up to 1500, then used a powerball with billet aluminum polish, then polished by had. I got them pretty shiny this way, but no where near where I think they should be...the still have a faded look to them, but shiny.

Anyways, I got a friend that can powder coat, only cost to me is the powder. I'm torn on what color to get. My car is silver, the side mirrors and sail panel are both color matched, and I have a flat black berger mod.

What color should I powder coat them? I'm leaning towards a gunmetal color, and not a huge fan of chrome.

I'd say maybe competition grey or gunmetal with a polished lip.
